5/5

What is the science of Tajweed?

Tajweed linguistically: improvement, perfection, and Tajweed is defined in Islamic law as a science by which the Muslim can extract and pronounce the Qur’anic words in a sound manner as our Master Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, pronounced them. A license to teach intonation and its provisions and rules.

It is the science that investigates the ways of pronouncing the letters, taking care of their exits and their characteristics, and the rulings that are presented to them, and related to that in endowment, beginning, connecting and definitively. Without making a mistake, God Almighty has said: {And recite the Qur’an with recitation}, and the Messenger – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – praised the skilled in the Qur’an, on the authority of Aisha, the mother of the believers, may God be pleased with her, where she said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The skilled With the Qur’an with the honorable and righteous travellers, and he who recites the Qur’an and stumbles over it, while he is hard on him, will have rewards.” May God’s peace and blessings be upon him: “The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it”.

The importance of learning Tajweed?

Allah Almighty made His Great Messenger a very important commandment; Where he said: (And the Quran was recited with recitation) [Al-Muzammil: 4]; That is, read the Quran slowly and slowly, in order to achieve the purpose of the verses, which is understanding them and applying the provisions contained in them during the daily life of the Muslim. Reciting without taking into account the rulings and movements changes the structure of words, and changing the structure changes the meaning and meaning, and tajweed is important and preferred, including:

Way of Teaching:

We will assign a teacher to a trial class with the student while the teacher assesses the student’s level and suggests which book to use and the method of teaching. The teacher will also see the weaknesses he needs to work with the student. So that he can start with exits, decoding, start pronouncing Arabic letters, etc.

During the class, our teacher will focus more on applying the rules of intonation and not just theories. So the teacher will divide the chapters between the rule of Tajweed and the practice of reciting the Qur’an. The student will recite a minimum of 6 Jaws while covering all these Tajweed rules. He may be asked to take the test after studying some rules. We will keep in touch with the teacher to improve weaknesses and ask the teacher to report back to us about the students’ performance after each class.
